First time at Lake Ororville

We heard from Uncle Wesley that the fishing was very good at Lake Oroville for bass so we decided to meet him up there Saturday afternoon. I’ve lived in Orland for over 20 years and have never made a trip to Lake Oroville. My loss because it is a beautiful lake! The launch ramp is one of the nicest if not THE nicest launch ramps I have ever seen.
The fishing was slow overall but the boys managed to land 20 fish between the both of them. They caught some coho salmon too which was a nice bonus. The bass were eating 1/8oz. jigs with brown grubs. The coho were chasing just about anything were threw for the bass. Too bad the shad fishing is coming up, I would have liked to take the boys there again.
